Polony and Weaver in conjunction with The Institute for Homoeopathic Medicine, have produce a short intensive training module for post graduate practitioners of homoeopathy. This singular subject course, Case Taking, Case Analysis and Case Management, has been designed around the writings and teachings of Samuel Hahnemann exclusively, and as such will be a revisiting of the Organon and Chronic Diseases in depth with many useful hints and tips from those who learned from Hahnemann themselves. From this base of original writings, the course develops logically into examining the whole structure of disease and the process required to return the patient to health.

Utilising the OpenRep SYNOPSIS and ARCHIVES, the practitioner student will be walked through the reasons and methodology involved in taking a case. A brief but comprehensive look at the nature of disease, will begin to unlock the rationale behind Hahnemanns insistence upon observation and close attention to detail in observing each and every case of disease. The differenciation between Acute and Chronic states will be examined via the many cases present throughout the duration of this training module. The Practitioner student will become familiar with the usage of the Repertory in terms of what is valuable in a case of disease and therefore essential to keep in mind for analysis The student will learn how to extract the information required from the Materia Medica in order to validate a correct prescription.

There will be emphasis made on accuracy and truth, and as such, a lot of the myths taught in colleges around the world will have to stand on their own merits in the face of the evidence. Our aim is to to produce a well researched and able practitioner in the mold of a Hahnemann or Boenninghausen utilising time proven methods that lead to success.
